Kupwara, March 16 (KNO) : Peoples Conference Chairman, Sajad Gani Lone on Saturday termed the decision of ban on Jamaat-e-Islami as ‘a wrong decision’, stating that such a decision won’t have effective results. Lone said that, if the media reports regarding the termination of government employees is true then it's not a positive approach of the Governor led administration, because at the time when “we are trying to convince the people to take active part in democracy meanwhile government is trying to crunch it and as principles it's wrong decision.” “I have been telling to fight them on ground level; they have almost 800 educational institutions across the valley, despite being in opposition, how they managed to open so many institutions across the valley, since they have no power,” he said. “Rather than shutting down the schools of Jammt-e-Islami, Delhi should think about its decisions they have taken in last three decades acting on the tips of ‘Prince and Princess’, they have killed numerous Kashmiris by helping them to stay in power, why doesn't central government ask them what have they managed to do here in this state,” he said. About Alliance of National Conference and Congress for Parliament election, Sajad said that, “Both the parties have a strong natural alliance as they have hanged two Kashmiris at their time of power. Sajad lone was chairing a party workers meet here in Handwara of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. On the occasion, he impressed upon all to strengthen the party and vote for change and development.(KNO)
